The BMW ConnectedRide Cradle smartphone holder allows you to use your smartphone as a GPS on your BMW motorcycle. With the BMW Motorrad Connected app (version 4.0 minimum), you can view vehicle data while riding, such as lean angle, acceleration, and deceleration. The connection and pairing are done once, during the initial setup. If your bike is equipped with the multi-controller and the "Onboard Computer Pro" feature, additional functions are available. Once installed on the holder, your phone charges either via induction (Qi standard, 7.5W max.) or USB-C (7.5W, 1.5A for 5V). A LED indicator shows the charging status, and it can be turned off.
Compatibilities of the Smartphone Cradle ConnectedRide BMW
The ConnectedRide Cradle BMW is compatible with motorcycles equipped with GPS preparation, except for the BMW R1200RT, R1250RT, and K1600 models. It cannot be mounted on 4-button GPS holders.
